This 1959 Omega, reference 14773-1 SC, features a linen dial with a distinct cross-hatch texture. The dial has an “explorer-style” layout, using applied Arabic numerals at the quarters and faceted arrowhead markers for the remaining hours. The dauphine hands and indices show a consistent and warm patina. Its 34mm stainless steel case retains sharp lug lines and is fitted with a signed Omega crown. Inside is the Omega caliber 470, an early full-rotor automatic movement with a polished finish. The watch is presented on a blue alligator-pattern leather strap.
