This vintage Gruen Precision features a day-date complication with a unique layout. Its silver, vertical sunburst dial has applied baton indices with black inlays and Arabic numerals at 12, 6, and 9. The date is shown in a traditional window at 3 o’clock, while the day of the week appears in a distinctive arched aperture above the 6, printed in a contrasting red text. The watch is set in a chrome-plated case with a stainless steel back that is stamped “Made in France,” indicating its European assembly. It is powered by a 17-jewel, Swiss manual-wind movement and is paired with a black textured leather strap with white contrast stitching.
