1940’s Vacheron Constantin Caltrava V453

Vacheron Constantin Calatrava V453 in 18k yellow gold featuring a 34mm case with a smooth bezel and long tapered lugs. The original white dial has a speckled patina with applied gold Arabic numerals and a railroad-style outer minute track. A recessed small seconds subdial sits above the 6 o’clock position, framed by a bold black crosshair. The thin gold leaf hands contrast against the dial, with a long sweeping seconds hand extending to the track. The unsigned crown is positioned at 3 o’clock, complementing the overall symmetry. The watch is powered by the manual-winding Vacheron Constantin V453 movement. Fitted on a green leather strap with white contrast stitching and a gold-tone buckle.
