Rolex Air-King 14010 Description

The Rolex Air‑King ref. 14010 was introduced in 1990 and remained in production until 2007. It was part of the upgraded 140xx series that modernized the Air‑King line with a sapphire crystal and improved movement. Unlike the smooth bezel on the 14000, the 14010 featured an engine-turned bezel, giving it a more industrial, sportier aesthetic. The 34 mm stainless steel Oyster case housed the automatic Rolex Caliber 3000 until around 2000, when it was replaced by the updated Rolex Caliber 3130. The watch measured approximately 11 mm in thickness, with a 43 mm lug-to-lug distance and 19 mm lug width. Dial options included silver, black, blue, and white finishes with baton hour markers, and some versions were fitted with the Explorer-style 3/6/9 dial. The 14010 was positioned as a robust, no-date entry-level Rolex, and it continues to attract collectors for its durable build and clean vintage-modern styling.
