Rolex Oyster Perpetual 6710 Description

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 6710 is a vintage ladies’ model introduced during the late 1950s and produced into the 1960s. It features a 25mm stainless steel case that embodies the early post-war design language of Rolex, combining compact proportions with enduring quality. The watch is powered by the Rolex Caliber 1130, a manually wound movement known for its robustness and precision, offering a power reserve of approximately 44 hours. The case design includes a smooth polished bezel and an acrylic crystal, with water resistance achieved via a screw-down crown and caseback—standard for the Oyster line. Dials were available in neutral colors such as silver or cream, paired with either Arabic numerals or baton hour markers and simple hands. With a lug width of 13mm and a lug-to-lug measurement of about 32mm, the ref. 6710 was designed for refined wear on smaller wrists. It was often sold on a folded-link Oyster bracelet, contributing to its elegant vintage profile. While less common today, the 6710 remains a collectible reference for those interested in early post-war Rolex production and understated mechanical watchmaking in a compact format.
