Rolex 3186 Description

The Rolex 3186 is an automatic GMT movement introduced c. 2005 as an upgrade to the 3185. Its key improvements were the introduction of the blue Parachrom hairspring, offering greater resistance to magnetism and shocks, and a refined gear train that reduced hand “wobble” during time-setting. It was used in the final years of the GMT-Master II 16710 and Explorer II 16570, making those versions highly collectible.
