Rolex 4130 Description
The Rolex Caliber 4130 is the brand’s first in-house, fully integrated automatic chronograph, introduced in 2000 to power the Cosmograph Daytona. Engineered for maximum reliability with fewer components than standard chronographs, its standout feature is a column-wheel and vertical clutch system that ensures a precise start to the chronograph hand and allows it to run continuously without affecting the watch’s accuracy. With a 72-hour power reserve and a Parachrom hairspring, it set a new benchmark for sports chronograph movements.
