Rolex Air-King 14000M

The Rolex Air‑King ref. 14000M was introduced in 2000 as an update to the preceding 14000. While it retained the same 34 mm stainless steel Oyster case, smooth bezel, and dial design, the 14000M featured a movement upgrade to the Caliber 3130. This movement brought chronometer-level accuracy, a free-sprung balance, and a longer 48-hour power reserve. The case dimensions remained consistent with its predecessor—34 mm wide, approximately 11 mm thick, with a lug-to-lug measurement near 43 mm and 19 mm lug width. The 14000M maintained its clean, time-only layout beneath a sapphire crystal, with dial options including silver, blue, black, and white, often with baton indices or Explorer-style 3/6/9 numerals. This reference marked the final production phase of the traditional Air-King design before the model line was overhauled into the more contemporary 114200 series.
