Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 116520

Reference 116520 is the first stainless steel Daytona to be equipped with a fully in-house movement, the Caliber 4130. Produced from 2000 to 2016, it succeeded the legendary “Zenith” Daytona 16520. The Caliber 4130 was a major technical achievement, featuring fewer components, a vertical clutch for precise chronograph start/stop, and a longer power reserve. The watch features a 40mm steel case, a steel engraved tachymeter bezel, and a steel Oyster bracelet. Its significance is as the definitive steel sports chronograph of the 2000s and the first “all-Rolex” steel Daytona.
