Reference 16528 is the solid gold model from the first generation of automatic Daytonas, produced from 1988 to 2000. It is historically significant as it is powered by the Caliber 4030, a heavily modified and COSC-certified version of the Zenith El Primero movement. The technical specification denotes a 40mm case and Oyster bracelet in solid 18k yellow gold (8) with a matching gold engraved tachymeter bezel (2 code). It represents the first time the Daytona was offered as a self-winding, truly modern luxury chronograph in precious metal.
