Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 6264

Reference 6264 is a rare, transitional vintage manual-wind Daytona, produced for a short period around 1970-1972. Its technical specification combines the earlier, non-Oyster “pump” pushers with the later black acrylic (Bakelite) tachymeter bezel. It is powered by the Valjoux 727 movement, the upgraded version of the Valjoux 722. The significance of the 6264 lies in its status as a rare transitional model, bridging the gap between the early pump-pusher models (6241) and the later screw-down pusher Oyster models (6263).
