Produced around 1948, the watch’s historical significance lies in its “hooded lug” or “shrouded lug” construction, a feature sometimes nicknamed the “Monk’s Hood” by collectors. This design integrates a cover that flows over the ends of the lugs, creating a seamless and streamlined profile. The known examples are executed in a two-tone combination of a stainless steel case with an 18k pink gold bezel and screw-down crown.
