Rolex Oyster Perpetual 6621 Description

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 6621 is a vintage ladies’ watch that emerged during the early 1960s, reflecting the brand’s expanding catalog of smaller Oyster-cased timepieces. With a compact 25mm stainless steel case, the 6621 was offered with a variety of bezel options, including polished smooth and fluted 18k white or yellow gold bezels, allowing for subtle customization within the model line. Powering this reference is the manually wound Rolex Caliber 1160, a reliable and efficient movement delivering a power reserve of approximately 44 hours. Dials were typically simple and elegant, with baton markers and pencil hands in sunburst silver, white, or champagne finishes, all beneath an acrylic crystal. Like all Oyster models, the watch features a screw-down crown and caseback, offering water resistance suitable for daily wear. It measures approximately 32mm lug-to-lug with a 13mm lug width, maintaining graceful proportions for smaller wrists. Often delivered on an Oyster or Jubilee bracelet, the ref. 6621 represents a balance of vintage charm and Rolex durability, and it remains an appealing entry-level collectible for enthusiasts of compact, classic Rolex design.
