Omega 1040 Description

The Omega 1040, based on the Lemania 1340, was Omega’s first automatic chronograph, introduced in 1970. This large, robust caliber is famed for its innovative central minute counter for the chronograph, offering superior legibility. It also features a 12-hour recorder, 24-hour indicator, small seconds, and date. It powered iconic 70s models like the Speedmaster Mark III and Seamaster “Big Blue”.
