Valjoux 7736 Description

The Valjoux 7736 is a manual-wind, cam-operated chronograph movement from the highly successful Valjoux 7730 family. As a direct evolution of the 7733/7734, its defining feature is the addition of a 12-hour counter, giving it a classic tri-compax layout (sub-dials at 3, 6, and 9). This increased functionality made it a popular choice for sports and racing chronographs in the 1970s from brands like Heuer and Breitling. It maintained the robust and reliable architecture of its siblings.
