ETA / Valjoux 7750 Description
The ETA/Valjoux 7750 is a highly successful and widely used Swiss automatic chronograph movement. Initially developed by Valjoux in the early 1970s, its production was halted by the quartz crisis but revived in the 1980s after Valjoux’s integration into ETA. It uses a cam and lever system (coulisse) for its chronograph functions, making it robust, reliable, and suitable for mass production. It is famous for its “wobble” caused by the unidirectional winding rotor and is considered a “workhorse” of the watch industry.
