This Mido Multifort Grand Luxe Super Automatic features a round two-tone case with a 14k gold-capped bezel and stainless steel back, straight lugs, and a polished finish, housing an original silvered dial with embossed gold-tone Arabic numerals and baton markers, a sweep seconds hand, and “SUPER‑AUTOMATIC” printed above 6 o’clock. The automatic movement—likely a bumper Caliber 917 from the 1950s—has been authenticated, serviced, and tested via timegrapher in six positions; rate, amplitude, and beat error are within acceptable tolerances, and the movement shows no signs of rust or corrosion.
