Today’s watch is a sought-after “first series” Chronomaster, distinct from more typical Chronomaster models due to its exceptional features: the dual-branded “Croton Nivada Grenchen” dial, radium lume broad arrow hands, the rare “high Swiss” marking, and the label “chronograph” at six o’clock instead of the usual “chronomaster” text.

In addition to its technical charm, this example captures the patina that only a well-loved vintage watch can achieve. The radium lume on the dial and hands has aged into a rich, creamy yellow, strikingly set against the dial’s original matte black finish. The bezel, originally black, now reveals a light purple hue that shifts subtly with the light.
