Helbros
Helbros was an American watch company founded in 1913 by the Helbein brothers, who aimed to provide quality timepieces at affordable prices for the general public. Operating primarily as an assembler, Helbros sourced movements from various Swiss, German, and French manufacturers and became a household name in the mid-20th century. The brand was known for its wide range of styles, from durable military-inspired designs and chronographs to character watches, and was a major advertiser in the 1950s and 60s before being acquired by Elgin in the late 1960s.
