Valjoux 7733 Description

The Valjoux 7733 is a manual-wind cam-operated chronograph movement that became a benchmark for affordable and reliable chronographs in the late 1960s and 1970s. It was developed by Valjoux after its acquisition of Venus, based directly on the Venus 188 caliber. Its simple, robust design made it easy to mass-produce, leading to its adoption by a vast number of watch manufacturers. Its architecture formed the basis for the legendary Valjoux 7750 automatic chronograph.
