Rolex Cosmograph Daytona 6263

Reference 6263 is an iconic vintage manual-wind Daytona, produced from approximately 1971 to 1988. Its key technical features are a 37.5mm Oyster case fitted with second-generation screw-down chronograph pushers for improved water resistance, and a black acrylic (Bakelite) tachymeter bezel. It is powered by the Valjoux 727 manual-wind movement. The 6263 is historically significant as one of the two final and most highly-developed manual-wind Daytona references (along with the 6265), and is famously associated with “Big Red” dials where the “Daytona” text is printed in large red letters.
