Reference 6824 is the smooth bezel model from the 31mm ‘Mid-Size’ Datejust 68xx series, produced from the late 1970s through the 1980s. Its primary technical feature, specified by the 24 suffix, is a ‘finely engine-turned’ bezel crafted from stainless steel. The watch is powered by the Rolex Caliber 2035, an automatic movement notable for being one of the first in its size category to feature a quickset date complication. The 31mm Oyster case is constructed entirely from stainless steel and is fitted with an acrylic crystal.
