Rolex Oyster Perpetual 67480 Description

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 67480 was produced during the late 1990s and early 2000s and is part of Rolex’s midsize collection aimed at those preferring a more compact and wearable case diameter. This reference featured a stainless steel case measuring 31 mm in diameter, paired with either a smooth or engine-turned bezel, and typically matched with an Oyster bracelet. It was powered by the Rolex Caliber 2235, a chronometer-certified automatic movement offering a power reserve of approximately 48 hours. The case thickness was around 11.5 mm, with a lug-to-lug span of 37.5 mm and a lug width of 16 mm. Dial options included a range of classic and vibrant colors such as silver, blue, black, and salmon, often accented by baton indices with luminous plots. With its screw-down crown and caseback, the watch delivered water resistance up to 100 meters. As a transitional reference preceding the modern iterations of the Oyster Perpetual line, the 67480 is now viewed as an accessible and reliable entry point into vintage Rolex collecting.
