Rolex Oyster Perpetual 6751 Description

The Rolex Oyster Perpetual ref. 6751 was produced during the early to mid-1960s and represents a mid-size stainless steel model with a traditional Rolex aesthetic. It featured a 31 mm Oyster case, often accompanied by a smooth or engine-turned bezel, and was commonly fitted with an Oyster bracelet. The watch was powered by the Rolex Caliber 1130, a reliable self-winding movement with a power reserve of around 42 hours, known for its robust design and serviceability. It measured approximately 11.5 mm in thickness, had a lug-to-lug distance of 37.5 mm, and a lug width of 16 mm. Dial variations typically included silver, white, or black tones, with applied hour markers and luminous material in the hands and indexes, commonly radium or early tritium. As with other Oyster models of its time, the 6751 featured a screw-down crown and caseback, enabling water resistance to 100 meters. This reference is now considered a desirable vintage piece for collectors who appreciate Rolex’s clean mid-century design language and reliable mechanical performance in a more compact case size.
