Favre Leuba

Favre-Leuba is one of the oldest Swiss watch brands, with origins tracing back to Abraham Favre in Le Locle in 1737. The company became “Favre-Leuba” in 1815 and built a strong reputation for pioneering tool watches, especially during the 1960s. Its most iconic creations include the Bivouac, the first mechanical watch with an altimeter and barometer, and the Bathy, the first mechanical watch to display dive depth. After succumbing to the quartz crisis and changing ownership multiple times, the brand has been revived and continues to produce modern watches inspired by its historic exploration-focused designs.
