This vintage Gruen Precision is a rare and fascinating timepiece featuring a “Day/Night” jump-hour complication. It is powered by the French-made Caliber 510 RSS, a 17-jewel manual-wind movement. The chrome-plated case, also made in France, is fitted with a stainless steel screw-down back. Its silver, vertical sunburst dial is distinguished by applied, faceted dart indices, each containing an aperture that displays a rotating disc. This disc changes color to indicate day or night hours,in this instance, showing a vibrant green. The watch is completed with luminous stick hands and is presented on a tan leather strap.
